Rachel writes: Gimme a break

Spring break. One week in which there are no class meetings. I’m using the free time to research my final projects.  A small relief from routine and a chance to reflect on what I want to accomplish by semester’s end.

On another note, I just learned that a particularly bright young man in one of my seminars is a an undergrad at a west-coast university and is here in the Boston area receiving medical treatment throughout the semester. I was very moved by his story, his courage, and his intellectual tenacity.

I wish him and all of you a productive and relaxing spring break!

I’m excited to be starting at Harvard Extension….. Fits my life and lifestyle as an Airline Captain, who wants to move to the other side of the table in the industry….. I’ll be on Campus in the next few weeks, but would love to gain as much perspective as possible from those of you who have already navigated this sticky wicket…….
